Jonathan is an experienced recording artist, writer and producer. He has collaborated with writer-producers Joshua Blair (Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars), Sophie Daniels (Joelle Moses, Westlife), Paul Stanborough (Guy Chambers, Cathy Dennis), Bruce Hughes (Jason Mraz), Will Hicks (Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Lily Allen) and Igor Haefeli (Daughter) in studios across the UK and the US. In 2013, Jonathan’s double A-side ‘Blind Belief’, which was recorded, mixed and mastered in Austin, New York and Portland, received strong support at UK radio, with the club remix peaking at number 11 in the club charts.

Jonathan now works as a standalone songwriter on a range of artist projects in London, Nashville and Berlin. He writes for Recognition Management and Mada Music, and has recently started working with Nashville/Miami-based company AbFab Artists. Artist projects include Puzzle, Robbie Boyd, Charlie Weaver, Mihle, Lisa Canny, James McLean, Mark Thompson, Katie Coleman, Brookfield, Emily Hackett, Brooke Lawrence, Brian Hanlon and Prizz. Through these projects he has collaborated on tracks with producers Brad Mair (Romeo Blanco, Kipper Eldridge), Mikko Gordon (Nigel Godrich), Dyre Gormsen (Martin Terife) and Pete Hakola (To Kill A King).

Jonathan is also an experienced songwriting tutor and coach, with a strong background in artist and writer development. He is the Programme Leader for the Songwriting degree programme at The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance in London, where he has been integral to the programme’s design, management and delivery. He has also delivered masterclasses at Middlesex University, the BRIT School and HDPK in Berlin. He works closely with the Songwriting department at Belmont University in Nashville, visiting regularly.
