The joy of cowriting...
As a cowriter, I have collaborated with over 90 emerging and established artists. I am passionate about writing songs that convey an artist's identity and bring their stories to life.
SVEN ROSS
Sven is a Dutch singer-songwriter with a growing following in the Netherlands and the UK. He writes distinctive modern folk stories. ‘Bad Timing’ is one of my favourite songs we have written together (with another cowriter, David Boyden).
SOPHIE DANIELS
Sophie has extensive experience as a commercial songwriter and enterpreneur, as a song researcher and as a trailblazer in songwriting education. Sophie and I have written countless songs together, 8 of which feature on 'Even The Best Of Us Need Rescuing Sometimes'. I co-wrote one of the songs on Sophie's 'Liberty's Mother' EP, a creative project raising awareness of baby loss.
KATIE COLEMAN
Katie is a pop/R&B singer who has appeared on The X Factor and The Voice UK, as well as supporting James Arthur on his UK tour. I co-wrote several with Katie, including the Xenomania-produced 'Illusion'.
HANNAH ROSE PLATT
Hannah Rose Platt is an acclaimed singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and master storyteller. Her songs are ruthlessly creative and darkly magical. I co-wrote the deeply personal song 'Feeding Time For Monsters' with Hannah. It was released as a single on her last album, receiving strong radio support and critical acclaim.
LISA CANNY
Lisa is a 7-time All-Ireland champion on harp and banjo. Lisa and I were introduced to one another by a Nashville publisher. We wrote many songs together, two of which were recorded for her debut EP, 'Freedom', which was released in May 2018 and reached number 5 in the Irish charts. We won the Future Music UK 'song of the year' award for one of these songs, Painted By You.
BROOKE LAW
Brooke is an Americana artist whom I have written with many times over the last few years. Her recently-released song, 'Wild As I Was' (co-written with Brooke & John McCombe), is about her mother's childhood and is one of my favourites.
